The Butler County Progressive Political Action Committee was formed soon after the 2008 Presidential election principally by Oxford activists–neighborhood leaders and team leaders and others–who had worked hard throughout Butler County to help elect Barack Obama and Joe Biden. Our first major event, an Inaugural Celebration Party at the lovely White Garden Inn, attracted nearly 100 guests. Since then we have officially organized as a PAC, and we elected officers and an executive board, raised campaign funds, endorsed candidates, and hosted meetings with Ohio Lt. Governor Lee Fisher, Hamilton County Commission President David Pepper, and Ohio Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner. We invite you to join us as we work to turn Butler County a progressive Blue. Please join our listserv by sending a blank message to BCP-PAC-subscribe@yahoogroups.com. I hope to see you at one of our upcoming meetings or events.
Don Daiker,
President
